Welcome to Our Library's Online Catalog
The CKS Library opened in 2001. Situated in Wat Damnak, a living Buddhist monastery in the heart of Siem Reap, the Library is the largest public academic library in Cambodia outside of Phnom Penh, and the second most important for the social sciences and humanities in the whole country. The library is separated in two buildings. The reading room is open to everyone, free of charge. The Library Collection is located in the new and large library building, which was built in 2010 for Academic studies. It has special collections on Cambodia, Indochina and Southeast Asia etc. Most of our collections focus on Southeast Asia and Indochina.
In addition to our physical library, CKS developed the Online Catalog. Our online catalog provides you with an overview of our collections at the CKS library and places hole those items before visiting our physical library. A number of full publications and articles are fully accessible online, and we are in the progress of expanding our e-resource collection. To learn more about what our Online Catalog can offer you and how to access it, please watch this tutorial video. We also encourage you to visit the library in Siem Reap in addition to using the online catalog here.

WHAT WE DO
- Facilitate research, knowledge sharing and insights on topics related to Cambodia’s social, economic and cultural development.
- Strengthen research and teaching capacities in the social sciences and humanities as they relate to Cambodia and South East Asia by working with social scientists, sociologists, urban scientists, anthropologists, economists, geographers, political scientists, and others.
- Partner with all major public universities in Cambodia, key development organizations, and relevant public ministries/authorities. We also work closely with leading universities and research centers across US, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
